About the Website
This website began as one witch's attempt to explain her faith to her Catholic mother, without shoving it in the poor woman's face. The internet allowed me to serve a wider audience, and I soon found myself sharing the site with numerous seekers, friends, and curiosity seekers. At the time of the first publication of this site, in a subfolder of my old one.net account, I was a practicing Witch studying eclectic Wicca. Eventually, it became in my best interests to separate this site from my professional life, at least temporarily, and I moved the site to drak.net's free services. At this time, I began edited and expanding the information provided to create something even more useful to the seeker. I added books and links, and updated and expanded the definitions section. The site found it's current home when drak.net put it's free services on temporary hiatus. I was such a fan of the pagan owned and operated web-hosting company, that I purchaed this domain name, based on one of my chatting handles, and a hosting account from drak. The website continued to grow, and became home to articles about how Hollywood treats the Craft, and random topics surrounding Wicca. In response to the growing number of teen requests for resources, the teen section and study lists were added. It is my goal to provide the community with something a little different from that many "Wicca 101" and "Spell Swapping" sites available. I always welcome feedback of any kind, and hope that viewer finds the site helpful, informative and interesting. About the Erisian Trubble
As a priestess of Aphrodite, she is a fan of the love spell, when used properly, and will defend the Power of Love to the last. She is also a big believer in the power of self-esteem and is known for her tough-love approach in chat rooms and training sessions. In 1998, Erisian Trubble co-founded a local study group known as the Dark Moon Circle, and currently sits on the Star Council of this group. Within and without the bounds of this group, she has offered a number of workshops, ranging from magical bath salts to Aprodisian rituals. If you would like her to present a workshop at your gathering in the Greater Cincinnati/Dayton area, please contact her for details and topics available. When she isn't teaching the Craft or chatting away on Yahoo!, she is an aspiring yogi, a professional graphic designer and internet developer, a tarologist, and an expirimental cook. She grooves on anything 80's and serves as moral support for her very non-pagan but supremely cool partner. You can reach Erisian Trubble at erisiantrubble@erisiantrubble.com or by posting to the message boards. |
